Begin the 5-Star Luxury Nile Cruise with Travme Tours as you arrive in Aswan, where our representative greets you and transfers you in a private deluxe vehicle to the luxury cruise ship. Check in before noon and enjoy a welcome lunch on board as the cruise departs southward along the Nile. In the afternoon, visit the Aswan High Dam, a remarkable modern engineering achievement that shaped Egypt’s water ecology. Continue by traditional boat to the Temple of Philae, exquisitely located on Agilkia Island and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Conclude your first day with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive stone monument in the granite quarries. After breakfast on board, sail toward Kom Ombo and disembark to visit the impressive Double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus the Elder. See the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues once part of a great temple entrance. Return to the cruise for lunch on board, and enjoy the afternoon at leisure as you sail toward Luxor. Visit the sprawling Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site in ancient Egypt featuring monumental columns and sacred spaces.
